Mathildenhoehe is a beautifully renovated dwelling in the historic area of Darmstadt, Germany. It houses a fascinating collection of lighting works from around the world.

The owners commissioned this multi-wall installation from Ruth McDermott. The gel colours are amber ( ceiling), peacock blue (left wall) and magenta ( right wall). The three arrays are connected to dimming systems and pulsate in different rythms.
